The name is West. Herbert West. I
My primary area of interest and study is death, and I am pleased to say that I have made considerable progress in overcoming it. Yes, death! I have invented a "reagent" to re-animate the corpses of living things... beyond the six to twelve minute alleged "barrier" resulting in brain death (take that, Dr. Hill!) and have successfully brought back to life a myriad of living things. Admittedly, the process is not entirely perfect... but I'm confident with sufficient testing and tweaking it should turn out quite nicely.
This is my newest journal, wherein I shall record the processes of the development of my reagent, and my own success in conquering death! That being said, Daniel also thinks it best to note that I am in the habit of
Herbert West can be seen in the movies Re-Animator, Bride of Re-Animator, and Beyond Re-Animator, all of which are based upon stories by H.P. Lovecraft. Hopefully, he will be reunited with his beloved Daniel in House of Re-Animator. He is portrayed by actor Jeffrey Combs (and Daniel is portrayed by actor Bruce Abbott).
